North Winds always does a very thorough job with the maintenance of our furnace and AC. Our technician was Rick, and he was very knowledgeable and helpful with questions I had about dehumidifiers. I’m sorry he had to be the bearer of bad news with the hefty increase in the yearly maintenance plans that we have participated in for years. Overall I was very pleased with the service Rick provided.

Peter and Todd was wonderful. They kept me updated at what they was doing and then they had to come back the next day and the finished it all. They were very polite. I couldn’t have asked for 2 better workers than them. They was excellent.

“On Sunday Dec 8, the new thermostat installed by Northwind on Friday the 6th locked me out as I attempted to program it. It had somehow become stuck on the temperature 66 leaving the house cold on a winter day., which was particularly uncomfortable because I had a respiratory illness. Usually a service call requires a $250 fee. But when I spoke to the service tech, Justin, and explained the circumstance, he told me that there would be no charge given so recent an installation, and that he would come to my home quickly to remedy the situation. Justin was a consummate professional in manner and kindness, instructing me on every detail about how to use the new thermostat. He had some difficulty himself getting it to “on stick” and it took some research online to figure out the problem and reset the thermostat.

I am grateful to Justin and to Northwind for being not only reliable, but kind and flexible to the situation at hand.
