Rick came out to service our furnace recently and through his thorough diagnostics was able to have our heat blowing out at regular consistency (we were having issues with it starting and stopping - outside of changing the filter). Todd and Art made a gre a team. Went the extra mile or miles to get us a new furnace and water heater. Stuck around long enough to make sure everything worked properly. We had an emergency furnace repair and North Winds was very helpful. Peter and Todd came out extremely promptly and replaced our old furnace with a brand new, energy efficient one. They were both very friendly and helpful, as well as professional and thorough in their work. Nate was also great as the sales representative who talked us through our options. “On Sunday Dec 8, the new thermostat installed by Northwind on Friday the 6th locked me out as I attempted to program it. It had somehow become stuck on the temperature 66 leaving the house cold on a winter day., which was particularly uncomfortable because I had a respiratory illness. Usually a service call requires a $250 fee. But when I spoke to the service tech, Justin, and explained the circumstance, he told me that there would be no charge given so recent an installation, and that he would come to my home quickly to remedy the situation. Justin was a consummate professional in manner and kindness, instructing me on every detail about how to use the new thermostat. He had some difficulty himself getting it to “on stick” and it took some research online to figure out the problem and reset the thermostat.

I am grateful to Justin and to Northwind for being not only reliable, but kind and flexible to the situation at hand.
