North Winds is a first rate company. Very responsive and professional with outstanding communication and followup. Chase and Allen were great, very knowledgeable and found our problem quickly. Disappointed our 5 year old system's failed control board left us without heat for 3 days. Thankful for North Winds great support.

My hot water heater died on a Friday morning. I called North Winds for an estimate and they were able to update an estimate from 4-5 years ago. There was only a few hundred dollar difference. I did call other providers and their estimates were easily $800-$1000 more than North Winds’ quote.

I was quickly scheduled for that Monday morning. They arrived on time and replaced all that needed to be addressed. The service providers were nice and worked; there wasn’t any wasting of time.

Time and time again North Winds proves to be the best option for me.

“On Sunday Dec 8, the new thermostat installed by Northwind on Friday the 6th locked me out as I attempted to program it. It had somehow become stuck on the temperature 66 leaving the house cold on a winter day., which was particularly uncomfortable because I had a respiratory illness. Usually a service call requires a $250 fee. But when I spoke to the service tech, Justin, and explained the circumstance, he told me that there would be no charge given so recent an installation, and that he would come to my home quickly to remedy the situation. Justin was a consummate professional in manner and kindness, instructing me on every detail about how to use the new thermostat. He had some difficulty himself getting it to “on stick” and it took some research online to figure out the problem and reset the thermostat.

I am grateful to Justin and to Northwind for being not only reliable, but kind and flexible to the situation at hand.
