North Winds were fantastic when I recently had a furnace die unexpectedly! Despite very short notice, they were able to send a technician out the same day to diagnose the old furnace, and when it turned out it couldn't be fixed, they got someone out the same day to give me quotes on a new one. They then were able to install it the next business day!

Throughout the whole process, everyone I interacted with was helpful, professional, and genuinely wanted to get my heat back on as quickly as they could. I felt informed, not marketed to, and really appreciated that they were straightforward with me and, even when talking about other services they provided, always emphasized they were optional. Shoutout to Tyler, Nate, Lon, Art, and Haley for all their hard work.

My A/C is getting old as well and I am definitely keeping North Winds in mind for if it needs repair or a replacement in the future.

“On Sunday Dec 8, the new thermostat installed by Northwind on Friday the 6th locked me out as I attempted to program it. It had somehow become stuck on the temperature 66 leaving the house cold on a winter day., which was particularly uncomfortable because I had a respiratory illness. Usually a service call requires a $250 fee. But when I spoke to the service tech, Justin, and explained the circumstance, he told me that there would be no charge given so recent an installation, and that he would come to my home quickly to remedy the situation. Justin was a consummate professional in manner and kindness, instructing me on every detail about how to use the new thermostat. He had some difficulty himself getting it to “on stick” and it took some research online to figure out the problem and reset the thermostat.

I am grateful to Justin and to Northwind for being not only reliable, but kind and flexible to the situation at hand.
