We called after hours and Chase the technician came to help. Sounded like he had a long day but was still kind and courteous even open to all my questions. The odd nature of the malfunction was confusing as their were no error codes yet it seemed hindered in lighting properly. He checked the gas levels then traced the pipes back to our meter, which had cracked open and had water freezing it into a solid block of ice. Told me to call my power company and showed me which valve to turn to restore gas to the furnace. He didn't fix my problem but he did show me where the real problem really was and for this we were thankful.

I would highly recommend Northwinds Heating & Cooling. All of their staff was great! Nate did my estimate & had no problem with me texting him a "few" times with questions:) He was great! Todd & Art were the technicians and they were amazing! They were respectful of my house (1st snowfall of the year on the ground), knowledgeable & explained everything to me that I needed to know, including the new thermostat. They were very kind, not just to me but my cats too(They wanted to investigate Everything they were doing & escape every time they opened the door!) 😁 Definitely 5 stars!!

Rick was very personable and shared a good deal of information with me about why my boiler was not functioning. I appreciated his time and in depth details about the work being done. He had a great sense of humor as well!!

“Russ Kesterson was honest and was not trying to sell us anything we did not need. Todd Bates and his team was very professional. They installed a new furnace, disim duck work and installed a new a c unit. They said their first priority was to have the furnace up and running before they left on the first day to make sure we had heat that night.
